Our Story
COOPEC-AD/BENIN originates from the microfinance wing of BUPDOS-NGO, a non-profit organization of the Assemblies of God Church of Benin.
On July 19, 2008, the savings and credit cooperative "BUPDOS-MICROFINANCE" was created by members gathered in a constituent general assembly. In May 2010, it became COOPEC-AD/BENIN.
After going through difficulties from 2008 to 2013, the institution obtained its final approval on November 23, 2016 and has since experienced remarkable growth.
